Moving? Can't Take Everything With You?

Have you heard about "ReStore"?  Well, it's a program of Southeast New Hampshire Habitat for Humanity.  I just had a visit by one of their volunteers and I felt it was worth sharing.

The idea is simple - ReStore accepts (donations) of furniture and appliances, overstocked, discontinued, new and used building materials* - Then, these donated items are made available For Sale to the public (at 50-80% off retail) at ReStore,  or used in the construction of Habitat homes.  And ALL revenue from sales support their building programs.

Currently located in Dover, NH - ReStore will be moving to Newington, NH with the Grand Opening slated for October 1, 2011 (they began taking donations on 9/1/11) - the new address will be 29 Fox Run Road, Newington (the former roller rink next to Walmart).

ReStore is your answer to furniture and appliances that can't make the move with you -  No yard sales, no selling in the paper/online, no trips to the landfill or paying someone to take good items away.  The ReStore can provide an alternative and cost-effective means for disposal of items that may otherwise be added to our landfills.  They can even arrange for pick-up!

I encourage you to visit their website to learn more www.senhhbitat.org/restore  but here is a list:
