Weichert’s 13th Annual Golf Outing
Weichert, Realtors successfully raised $70,000 in donations for the American Cancer Society (ACS) to fund breast cancer research during its 13th Annual Charity Golf Outing. Proceeds from the successful event bring the grand total that Weichert has raised for the ACS to more than $650,000 since the annual fundraiser began in 2001. Nearly 200 golfers, as well as 26 attendees who chose the new non-golf spa and golf clinic options, enjoyed a buffet luncheon, three-hour cocktail reception/buffet, prizes and awards. In addition, special guest speaker and breast cancer survivor, Clotilda “Tillie” Cassidy from the Alexandria/Old Town, Va., office of Weichert, Realtors, shared her story of survival with the numerous attendees and encouraged them to make generous contributions toward the cause so that others like her may successfully finish their fight with cancer.
