"Annie" comes to Prescott Park, Portsmouth NH


Prescott Park, Portsmouth NH begins it's Summer Outdoor Production season this year with "Annie".

Starting this week June 28th and there after playing each Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from June 28 through August 25th, this is just one more reason to come visit Historic Portsmouth.

Show times are usually 7 or 8 pm with 3 matinees at 1:00 pm (see show time schedule here-   This is a great outdoor venue, with the Piscataqua River and Portsmouth Harbor as the backdrop, bring a folding chair, blanket (or rent a chair when you arrive).   A token suggested donation is all it takes!  For Show times and more information visit Prescott Park -

Portsmouth Market Square Day June 8th

Market Square Day - Downtown Portsmouth, NH.  June 8th, 2013 - The center of town streets are closed to vehicle traffic and merchants roll out to the streets along with other vendors of all kinds who come into the center of town to display their goods.  Food and music are bountiful and it's just a good time.

If you come to town early, you'll be able to enjoy a Pancake Breakfast over at 18 Court Street at the Middle Street Baptist Church- they'll be serving up a Pancake Breakfast they've been doing this for 48 years!)  This runs from 7:00 to 11(cost $6 Adults / Children $2.00).


The Festival officially Starts off with a 10K road race at 9:00.  The starting line will be in market square - more than 2,000 runners/walkers will make their way around town and finish at Strawberry Banke.

You'll also have the  opportunity to tour for  FREE,  the Historic Warner House which was built c1716, from 12:00-3:00. The Warner House is located at 150 Daniel Street.  This "museum" was once a home to six generations of a Portsmouth family and was saved from demolition. Come step back in time as you stroll through the streets of Portsmouth. Rain or shine, come enjoy all that Portsmouth has to offer.

Chowder Festival At Prescott Park

The Temperature is finally up and the Portsmouth, NH summer season is about to begin -  If you live here you already know about Prescott Park, which is located along the banks of the Piscataqua River, and surrounded by a rich history in the local setting of Strawberry banke.  Come down this year and enjoy all that Portsmouth has to offer.  Starting off with the  JUNE 1, 2013 -  Chowder Festival
